Big, Spacious Effects — without losing your core tone.

The Parallelarator lets you run delays, reverbs, modulation and more alongside your dry signal instead of stacking everything in one long chain.

Your attack stays sharp.  Your drive stays punchy.  Your ambience stays wide.

  Built-in true wet/dry/wet outputs

✔  Independent loop level control

✔  Stereo/mono flexibility per loop

✔  Expandable architecture via Parallel Link

Why Your Rig Starts to Feel Crowded

Most pedalboards are wired in series.

That works — until you add more pedals.

  • Reverbs soften attack

  • Delays blur clarity

  • Boosts change everything downstream

  • Stereo feels smaller than it should

At some point, the limitation isn’t your pedals.
It’s how they’re connected.

What Changes with Parallel Routing?

The Parallelarator blends effects around your dry tone — not through it.

Your dry signal becomes the foundation.
Effects become controlled layers.

  • Clearer gain tones

  • Bigger stereo image

  • More controlled ambience

  • Tighter multi-amp rigs

You hear more of your guitar — not less.

True Wet / Dry / Wet -  Built In

Three dedicated outputs allow genuine wet/dry/wet routing without external mixers or routing devices.

Connect:

  • One amp → Mono

  • Two amps → Stereo or Wet / Dry

  • Three amps → Wet / Dry / Wet

No menus. No reconfiguration.

See it in Action

The Parallelarator sits at the centre of your rig:

Guitar → Parallel loops → Independent dry and wet outputs.

  • The Centre (Dry) output always carries full dry signal.

  • The Left and Right outputs carry the blended mix.

  • Loop level controls and Dry Mix determine balance.

The architecture is simple — but powerful.

Loop Control & Blending

Each loop is independently configurable.

Independent Level Controls (Loops 1, 2 & 3)

Each loop features its own level control, allowing precise balancing of parallel effects in the final mix.

Stereo / Mono Switching (Loops 1, 2 & 3)

Each loop can be configured for stereo or mono operation.

Mono signals can be distributed across the stereo field in the final output mix.

Dry Mix Control

Controls how much of the buffered dry signal is blended into the Left and Right outputs.

parallelarator-topview-trans.webp
  • Fully counter-clockwise → no dry signal in L/R outputs (fully wet)

  • Fully clockwise → full dry signal present in L/R outputs

  • At maximum setting, dry level in L/R matches the dedicated Dry output

The Dry output is always full dry signal and is unaffected by the Dry Mix control.

This enables:

  • True wet/dry/wet setups

  • Fully wet stereo outputs

  • Controlled parallel blending

  • Independent centre dry amplifier feeds

Using a Single Amplifier

If using a single amplifier it should be connected to the Left output only, set the Dry Mix control to maximum to ensure full dry signal is present.

Loop 3 Performance Controls

Loop 3 Footswitch

Onboard switching for live control of Loop 3.

Loop 3 Phase

Inverts the Loop 3 send signal.

Used to:
  • Correct phase inversion introduced by pedals

  • Align Loop 3 with the dry path and other loops

  • Create intentional out-of-phase textures

This switch affects pedal signal alignment — not amplifier polarity.

Built for Real Rigs

The Parallelarator uses a buffered, high-headroom, low-noise architecture designed for clarity and stability in complex rigs.

Clean Headroom

+9 to +10 dBu @ 9V

+15 to +16 dBu @ 18V

Running at 18V increases internal headroom only — it does not increase output level.

This additional margin is beneficial in high-output rigs and many amplifier effects loops.

Loop Signal Behaviour

Loop sends pass signal at system level.
There is no attenuation and no boost.

Effects placed in the loops should tolerate the signal level present in your rig.

Increasing supply voltage raises the internal clipping ceiling of the Parallelarator, but does not raise the signal level sent to connected pedals.

Impedance

Dry input impedance: 1 MΩ

Output impedance (all outputs): 100 Ω

This ensures proper loading of passive pickups and strong signal drive capability for long cable runs and multi-amp setups.

Frequency Response

10 Hz - 24 Khz

Wide bandwidth design ensures full-range transparency.

Expandable Architecture

The Parallelarator is designed as pedalboard infrastructure.

Need additional parallel paths?

Add another unit.

Units integrate via the Parallel Link system, sharing a mono dry reference and stereo return path to extend routing cleanly and predictably.

Your original unit remains part of the system.

Parallel Link (TRRS Audio Expansion Port)

The Parallel Link connection uses a 3.5mm TRRS audio connector.

Pinout:
Tip = Left
Ring 1 = Right
Ring 2 = Dry
Sleeve = Ground

Linking Parallelarator Units

Multiple Parallelarators can be linked to expand the number of loops available.

multi-parallelarators.webp

When connecting two Parallelarators, the TRRS link provides:

  • Mono dry signal output to the second unit

  • Stereo return from the connected unit

A purpose-built Parallel Link cable is available in the web store.

External Stereo Input

The Parallel Link port also accepts a standard 3.5mm TRS stereo cable.

This allows an external stereo device to be introduced into the parallel mix, including:

  • Drum machines

  • Synths

  • Loopers

  • Playback devices

Signal level must be controlled from the connected device, as there is no internal level trim for this input.

Power

9V DC centre negative

Optional 18V DC operation (increases headroom only)

Approx. 100mA current draw.

Reverse polarity protected.
Not over-voltage protected — use 9V or 18V only.

Dimensions

78mm (W) × 122mm (L) × 60mm (H)
Including connectors and controls.

Optional Performance Expansion

Nexus-X1 (coming soon)

Adds:

  • Remote switching for Loops 1 & 2

  • Independent phase control per loop

  • Selectable momentary or latching operation

The Parallelarator is fully functional alone.

Nexus-X1 extends live interaction for players who require deeper performance control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does 18V make it louder?

No. It increases headroom, not output level

Can it run in an amplifer effects loop?

Yes. The high-headroom design support levels typical of many amp loops.

Will it clip pedals in the loops?

Loop sends pass system-level signal. Ensure connected pedals can tolerate your rig’s level.

Do I need a special cable to link units?

Yes. Linking units requires a TRRS Parallel Link cable. A compatible cable is available in the web store.

Can I inject stereo audio from another device?

Yes. Use a standard 3.5mm TRS stereo cable. Level must be set at the source.
